Workbook Fun: Assess your Driving and Envision Your End-of Life Care

Unsure about whether you should continue driving?

Wondering how to prepare for the final years or months of your life?

Want to avoid others making decisions for you?

These handy workbooks may be for you.

Driving While Aging Gracefully guides you through a self-assessment of your vision, level of attention, and introduces you to transportation alternatives. This was a joint project of AARP and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

Caring Conversations: Making Your Wishes Known for End-of-Life Care walks you through questions about what makes you happy and how you would like to spend the last six months of your life, and includes an advance directive. This is published by the Center for Practical Bioethics.

Even if you believe you will be living and driving for years to come, there is much to be gained from asking yourself these questions now, and having these conversations with your loved ones.
